Clients rely on Ed to intelligently avoid, resolve, or win legal disputes. For nearly two decades, Ed has built his practice representing businesses and small business owners, nonprofits, and individuals. He assists small business clients in protecting their biggest asset – by intelligently forming, structuring, and putting in place contracts and other documents to avoid lawsuits. This includes protecting small business owners’ families through business succession planning, estate planning, and estate administration.
Where disputes arise, Ed is a smart and effective advocate with real courtroom experience. After starting his career as a trial Law Clerk for a Federal District Court in Texas, Ed’s built a litigation practice that includes general business litigation, employment litigation, ownership disputes, construction defect litigation, insurance coverage and defense disputes, real property disputes, and estate and probate litigation. In addition, he has significant experience representing churches and religious nonprofits’ legal needs, including First Amendment litigation.
