Josh’s practice focuses on commercial/business litigation of all sizes. From multi-million dollar disputes to those much smaller, Josh is ready, willing, and able to effectively advocate his client’s position. Litigation matters often, but not always, involve disputes between business partners, claims for breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, covenants not to compete/solicit, breaches of fiduciary duty and the duty of loyalty, and defamation among others.
Josh has also litigated numerous class actions including class actions involving wage and hour disputes brought by current and former employees, violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”), and product liability actions. In his real estate litigation practice, Josh has litigated matters involving the enforceability of options to renew in commercial leases, broker commission disputes, use restrictions, and representation of landowners in condemnation proceedings. In the probate realm, Josh has litigated cases involving claims of undue influence, lack of testamentary capacity, and breaches of duties owed by personal representatives.
For nearly two decades, Josh has successfully tried cases to juries, judges, and arbitrators in Colorado and many other states across the nation. Short of trial, Josh has successfully resolved disputes in his client’s favor in over 100 mediations across all areas of law.
Josh was named a Rising Star by Colorado Super Lawyers five consecutive years running in the area of general litigation and has been included in The Best Lawyers in America® publication. Prior to practicing law, Josh was an Adjunct Professor at Temple University and St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Josh was named a Rising Star by Colorado Super Lawyers in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017.
Josh has extensive trial experience, including first chair experience in trials concerning First Amendment rights, enforcement of a failed asset purchase agreement, enforcement of a commercial contract, and products liability litigation. Second chair experience in trials and arbitrations involving enforcement of covenants not to compete, interpretation of commercial leases, and premises liability issues. Further, Josh has considerable courtroom experience in expedited matters such as preliminary injunction hearings.
